Description
A healthier version of a traditional Quebecois yellow split pea soup. You may think you don’t like pea soup, but we have converted many with this flavourful mix. Give it a try!
Suggestions:
Add ham, pork, ground pork, bacon.. so many possibilities! Consider adding a few drops of liquid smoke even! And as with most of our soups, veggies are always welcome additions! Don’t let those veggies lament in your fridge!
Ingredients
Split peas, gravy mix, chicken soup base, bacon bits, celery seed, minced onion, parsley, bay leaf.
ALLERGEN: Milk, soy
Directions
In a large stockpot, put 6 cups water and entire bag ingredients.
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently reduce heat, cover and simmer for 60 to 90 minutes stirring often to ensure peas do not stick.
Remove bay leaf before serving.

Our regular sized soup mixes are perfect for a family of four and more. Our minis (or soupies as we like to call them) are the perfect size for a couple or for students. Our regular soup mixes are between 300-900g and our Soupies are between 200-275g.
