Definitely one of our most popular soups. This hearty and warming soup is our number 2 best seller! So many of us grew up with versions of beef barley soup and we are proud of our yummy soup using Canadian barley and herbs.
Just add a protein and water – this soup mix comes with everything else you’ll need!
Suggestions:
To make this soup even more hearty, add leftover beef, venison, and/or veggies!
Ingredients
Pearl barley, lentils, parsley, onion, beef soup base, celery seed, thyme, bay leaf, pepper, garlic.
Directions
Cook 2 lbs of ground beef (if desired) or 1 cup TVP.
Add 10 cups water and all bag ingredients in a pot.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Our regular sized soup mixes are perfect for a family of four and more. Our minis (or soupies as we like to call them) are the perfect size for a couple or for students. Our regular soup mixes are between 300-900g and our Soupies are between 200-275g.
