German Lentil Soup Mix


Old school meets new school with German Lentil


This divine soup mix was created for the Christkindlmarkt in Pembroke and has become a popular option.  Our only soup mix that uses traditional brown lentils with a pinch of nutmeg, it is sure to please your palette.

Just add meat and water! This soup mix has everything else you’ll need!


Try adding in some beef, venison or leftover veggies to change this soup up!

Soupies (2 servings), Regular (4 servings)


Brown lentils, chicken soup base, bay leaf, onion, garlic powder, nutmeg, parsley, celery seed, black pepper, salt.


Add 1 cup cooked ham or cooked bratwurst.
Add 7 cups water.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 50 to 60 minutes.
Add hot pepper sauce if spicy is desired.
Remove bay leaf before serving.

Soupies vs Regular

Our regular sized soup mixes are perfect for a family of four and more. Our minis (or soupies as we like to call them) are the perfect size for a couple or for students. Our regular soup mixes are between 300-900g and our Soupies are between 200-275g.
